In times of European-wide or even global markets conformation certificates of products with international standards, European and national guidelines or individual requirements attain an increasing meaning.

Besides that, certified quality management systems in the manufacturing plants gain importance for ensuring the quality of operational work of the product user. The acknowledgement of product conformity and defined quality criteria by a certificate requires a high level of expert knowledge in different fields and strict neutrality.

For this task FGH has established an independent and accredited certification body, e.g. for the confirmation of the power generation characteristics of distributed generation units. An extension to other power system components is in preparation.

With their needs our members will substantially determine the development of the certification tasks planned in further stages.
